Ultrasound Practitioner (UP)

Development of A Middle Care Provider in Ultrasound Imaging

The Ultrasound Practitioner is a proposed health care professional who autonomously performs and interprets ultrasound procedures in primary or specialty care settings. As part of the interdisciplinary team, the Ultrasound Practitioner will provide services based upon clinical competency obtained by advanced education and clinical experience.
