Committee Objectives

1. Implement the SDMS Awards Program. Included awards and competitions are: Scientific Presentation Competition, Poster Exhibits (Student and Sonographer), W. Frederick Sample Papers, Distinguished Educator Award and the Joan Baker Pioneer Award.
2. Review and develop proposals for new awards to ensure opportunity for every segment of the membership and reflection of strategic priorities.
3. Participate as judges for the award competitions with volunteer members as backup.
