Committee Objectives

1. Support passage of the federal CARE bill in Congress, and once passed develop regulatory recommendations for consideration by the SDMS Board of Directors.
2. Monitor and respond to legislative and regulatory activity at the national and state level that affects the practice of sonography and/or SDMS member interests.
3. Actively participate in and support the Sonography Licensure Coalition.
