North Texas Ultrasound Society Grants

The North Texas Ultrasound Society (NTUS), through a donation made to the SDMS Educational Foundation, has established a restricted grant program for sonographers and students in the North Texas area. This program offers financial assistance to a limited number of individuals each year interested in attending the SDMS Annual Conference.

Eligibility

Sonographers

• must be living in North Texas (defined as Collin, Dallas, Denton, Ellis, Henderson, Hood, Hunt, Johnson, Kaufman, Parker, Rockwall, and Tarrant counties)
• must be Active members of the SDMS
• Grant application must be received in the SDMS Educational Foundation office by July 31

Students

• must be living in North Texas (defined as Collin, Dallas, Denton, Ellis, Henderson, Hood, Hunt, Johnson, Kaufman, Parker, Rockwall, and Tarrant counties)
• must be attending a CAAHEP accredited diagnostic medical sonography or cardiovascular technology program
• must be student members of SDMS
• Grant application must be received in the SDMS Educational Foundation office by July 31

Three grants, in the amount of $150 each, will be awarded and recipients will be notified within two weeks of the grant deadline. As with other SDMS Annual Conference Grants offered through the Foundation, grant funds will be sent to recipients following the SDMS Annual Conference, after conference attendance is verified.
