Graduate Research Award
The Graduate Research Award has been established to promote through research support the continuing growth of sonographers and sonography. This award, presented annually, will provide financial assistance and resources necessary for research conducted by sonographers working toward their Masters or Doctorate Degree.

Award Winners
The recipient will receive $1,000 and a personalized plaque at the SDMS Annual Conference, where the award will be presented.
Eligibility
Applicant must:
- Be SDMS Active member in good standing;
- be ARDMS certified;
- submit his/her thesis statement about the research being conducted;
- submit verification from the applicant’s thesis advisor of approval of the thesis or dissertation;
- submit the award application*, Entry Form, and all supporting documents
Deadline
All submissions must be received in the Foundation office no later than June 30. All submissions become the property of the SDMS Educational Foundation and will not be returned without a written request.
