Grants for SDMS Annual Conference
A limited number of grants will be awarded to current SDMS student members. To qualify for a grant, the following guidelines apply:
Eligibility
Sonographers
- must be SDMS Active members,
- must hold ARDMS or CCI certification,
- Register for the entire conference, and
- Provide a letter from his/her employer (on institutional/company letterhead) indicating that time will be provided for the sonographer to attend the conference and employer does not provide funding for continuing education
- Grant application must be received in the SDMS Educational Foundation office by July 31

Students
- Student applicant must be enrolled in a CAAHEP accredited diagnostic medical sonography or cardiovascular technology program,
- If selected to receive a grant, the applicant must register for the entire Conference,
- Applicant must be a SDMS member in good standing,
- Grant application must be received in the SDMS Educational Foundation office by July 31.

SDMS Annual Conference grant recipients will be selected on a first-come, first-served basis. The sonographer grants are $395 and the student grants are $200. Grant funds will be mailed to grant recipients upon verification of completion of the conference.
Note: Applicants must re-apply each calendar year to be considered for CME grants. Applicants may receive only one grant per calendar year.
SDMS or Foundation Board members, employees and their families are not eligible for grants. The SDMS Educational Foundation does not discriminate in its policies on the basis of race, color, nationality, ethnic origin, sex or religious belief. Completion of this form does not guarantee receipt of a grant. Applicants may receive only one grant per year.
The SDMS Educational Foundation reserves the right to publish the names of CME grant recipients.
