  7. Careful Where You Point That Thing!

Attention America Online (AOL) Users - approximately 30% of our members are using AOL as their Internet provider. Recently several members accidentally clicked the "Notify AOL" button (right next to the "Delete" button) when they were finished reading the SDMS Sound News. This AOL "feature" allows users to report SPAM messages (a good thing!). However, when someone mistakenly clicks "Notify AOL", AOL still reports it to our Internet Provider who then threatens to cut all SDMS Internet service! In each case, the member mistakenly hit the "Notify AOL" button!

So, we ask that you please be careful where you point your mouse...and if you ever decide you do not want to continue receiving SDMS Sound News, simply send us an email with your SDMS membership number and you will be removed from the distribution list.
