The SDMS Educational Foundation awards scholarships to students attending CAAHEP-accredited programs three times each year: March 30, July 31 and November 30. These scholarships are funded through your donations to the Foundation and from the sale of the Foundation's products. The following is a list of scholarship recipients for the July 31 deadline:

The SDMS Foundation's Presidential Scholarship has been awarded to Shannon Roberts, a student at the Cox School of Diagnostic Medical Sonography in Springfield, Missouri. This scholarship was established in honor of the past SDMS Presidents and is awarded each year to a student who displays a clearly defined high level of excellence in academics, as well as the drive that epitomizes the ultrasound professional.

The Trudy Dubinsky Memorial Scholarship was created in memory of Trudy Dubinsky whose love and dedication to ultrasound was well known to many in the field. This scholarship is awarded each year to honor Trudy's love of sonography, her professionalism, and dedication. The 2003 recipient of the SDMS Foundation's Trudy Dubinsky Memorial Scholarship is Wendy Cardwell. Wendy is a student at West Kentucky Community and Technical College and will graduate in July 2004.

The pre-conference registration deadline has passed. However, on-site registrations are welcome. Please stop by the SDMS registration desk on the Exhibition Level of the Hyatt Regency Dallas at Reunion. Registration hours are:

• Wednesday, October 15 - 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm
• Thursday, October 16 - 7:00 am to 8:30 pm
• Friday, October 17 - 7:00 am to 8:30 pm
• Saturday, October 18 - 7:00 am to 5:00 pm
• Sunday, October 19 - 7:30 am to 12:30 pm

We may still have a few seats available in our pre-conference tutorials on October 16 and Lunch & Learn educational sessions on October 17 and 18. Check availability at the registration desk.

If you can't make it to the educational sessions, we recommend an exhibit hall pass (only $25). Our exhibitors range from ultrasound equipment manufacturers to recruiters. Our exhibit hall is open:
