SDMS Hosts National Sonography Advanced Practice Consensus Conference
The SDMS hosted the national Sonography Advanced Practice Consensus Conference July 21-23 in Washington, D.C. Sixteen medical and ultrasound-related organizations participated in the conference. Participating organizations included:

The purpose of the conference was to engage the professional community in dialogue related to sonographer advanced practice and to reach a community consensus on the future role of sonographers in advanced practice. APCC participants have agreed to cooperate in filling information gaps related to sonographer advanced practice and to continue a developmental dialogue.
