“Stronger than ever” describes the SDMS and the SDMS Foundation in 2021. SDMS members reveled at all opportunities presented to them during the year. In 2021, SDMS members earned a total of 605,218 SDMS CME credits and contributed 6,300 volunteer hours. We showed our virtual savvy by having 14 successful virtual events in 2021 and attendance at the SDMS Virtual Conference hit nearly 900, with 99 percent of registrants giving it high satisfaction marks.

In 2021, the SDMS and SDMS Foundation also established a diversity, equity, and inclusion policy that articulates our commitment to continuous improvement in upholding diversity, equity, and inclusion in all we do. The attached reports provide a look back on a successful year and a look ahead to great new goals for us to achieve together in our devotion to the sonography profession.
