Dear SDMS Members,
As you may have seen, registration opened last week for the 2022 SDMS Annual Conference. While the SDMS has done an outstanding job of filling the calendar with virtual events, the in-person SDMS Annual Conference holds a special place in my heart. At the SDMS Annual Conferences over the years, I have grown both professionally and personally as I learned from experts in the field and formed deep relationships in the sonography community.
I love that there is always something new to learn at an SDMS Annual Conference. As an educator, I was able to continue the expansion of knowledge by taking what I learned from the presentations back home to my students. However, for me, the greatest rewards of attending an SDMS Annual Conference are the relationships and lasting friendships I developed. I have had the distinct pleasure of meeting new people and expanding my sonography network, which presented opportunities that I might not have had otherwise.
I encourage you to consider joining us this year in Atlanta, Georgia. The volunteer Event Management Committee charged with slating speakers for the 2022 SDMS Annual Conference has put together a robust agenda filled with learning and networking opportunities. During the conference, you will learn new ideas that you can take back to your sonography department, and you will have the opportunity to visit the exhibit hall to view the latest technology and advancements in the field. You will also make new connections that may influence your future in sonography. Lastly, but certainly not least, you will gain a renewed sense of energy and passion for your chosen profession.
Discounted early bird conference registration rates end June 22, 2022. You can purchase a full conference registration or an individual day registration. The SDMS has also negotiated a discounted room rate for conference attendees at the conference hotel, the Hyatt Regency Atlanta.
