From an early age, Hala has been determined to pursue a career in the medical field. Her goal was to help others and deliver direct patient care. As she began her journey of exploring various healthcare professions, she discovered sonography. Becoming a sonographer and utilizing innovative ultrasound machines to visualize internal structures and interpret images piqued her interest. To-date, Hala’s most meaningful achievement is her volunteer work at a refugee organization. Hala stated “I had volunteered at various places before. However, volunteering there to help people who were in their most vulnerable state was an honor for me. Volunteering has taught me to have patience when interacting with patients because we do not know what they are going through in their daily lives.”
