SDMS CME Management System Tips
- The SDMS CME Management System approval process lets SDMS CME providers quickly enter required information and documentation needed for approval.
- CME Providers can enter or upload required documentation including timed agendas, faculty, promotional materials, etc.
- SDMS members receive discount pricing on application fees and can apply for approval periods up to three (3) years.
- SDMS CME providers can designate multiple activity directors under the same CME provider. Each activity director can manage their own CME activities and general users can be assigned to perform data-entry.
- SDMS approved CME providers are provided with digital signatures to use on CME certificates, meaning providers never have to sign a certificate again!
- Clinical Instructorship credit is FREE to sonography educational program directors at CAAHEP-accredited educational programs. Clinical Instructors can earn up to six (6) SDMS CME credits per calendar year. SDMS membership required.
- Bonus: Individuals can earn SDMS CME credit for their role as an Author/Editor or for completing an eligible accredited college course.
SDMS CME Tracker System
 | SDMS CME activities approved under the SDMS CME Policies and Procedures are tracked in the SDMS CME Tracker system once the approved CME provider submits their attendance rosters. Once the electronic roster is submitted, the activity will automatically appear on the SDMS members' CME transcript.
SDMS CME credits received by SDMS members are reported on a daily basis, so please allow up to 24 hours from the time the electronic roster is submitted for credits to be transmitted to the ARDMS. Please note that the member’s ARDMS number must be on the participant roster and entered into the management system for the CME credit to be sent to ARDMS.
