Held in the spring, SDMS CME Weekend is a travel-free, online-only learning experience that enables sonographers, sonography students, and physicians from around the world to network and learn. In addition to earning SDMS CME credits, the educational program provides attendees with knowledge and skills in new sonographic techniques, diagnostic accuracy, enhancements of sonographic instrumentation, and practice management strategies.

CME Weekend offers ten (10) individual presentations with five (5) presentations on Saturday and five (5) presentations on Sunday. Partner with the SDMS and provide a speaker and content for an individual presentation for one, two, or more of the time slots. CME Weekend Partner | $2,000 | Deadline: December 12, 2025

Opportunity to partner with the SDMS and provide a speaker and content for a presentation that will be featured during CME Weekend. Your company name and/or logo will be prominently displayed during CME Weekend.

All partners will receive a copy of their recorded content. Details regarding the use of the recorded content will be outlined in the partnership agreement.

Session Break & Vendor Directory Listing ($1000):
Opportunity to include a 1-minute video advertisement (will be run once on Saturday and Sunday). Company information (i.e., logo, name, description, contact information) listed on vendor directory page.
Over 400 attendees in 2025!
Live Polling Question ($750):
Engage attendees in real time with a custom polling question, featured during the event using Zoom’s built-in polling tool. The poll will appear directly on participants’ screens, allowing for instant, anonymous responses to a multiple-choice or single-choice question. The SDMS will provide the polling results.

Social Media Post ($750):
Promote your company to the followers of the SDMS social media account of your choice.

Vendor Directory Listing ($500):
Showcase your company to the attendees of SDMS CME Weekend. Your company information (logo, name, description, contact information) will be listed on vendor directory page.
In 2025, the SDMS CME Weekend website received over 8,425 unique page views.

Event Stats

In response to overwhelming feedback from members for additional virtual learning opportunities, CME Weekend is now a multi-day event, held exclusively online. It gives members of the sonography community an opportunity to interact with peers and vendors without needing to attend an event in person.

SDMS Virtual Event Sponsorship Policies

SDMS Virtual Event partnership and sponsorship opportunities are available for SDMS members and those vendors who promote and support the sonography community.

Contract/Payment

Once an SDMS Virtual Event partnership or sponsorship is requested (written or verbal), execution of the agreement and payment are required immediately unless otherwise specified in the agreement. Failure to submit payment accordingly will result in the loss of the partnership or sponsorship.

Partnerships, sponsorships, and advertising are non-refundable, unless otherwise stated within the agreement.

Terms/Benefits

Contract terms and benefits will be implemented as specified in the agreement.

Right of First Refusal

Current SDMS partners and sponsors will be given the right of first refusal for future opportunities. Partners and sponsors will be contacted within 90 days of their current agreement end date to continue their partnership or sponsorship for the following year. Any opportunities not claimed by the deadline provided by SDMS staff will be available for purchase via the SDMS Prospectus.
