As we celebrate our newly elected leaders, I encourage every member to remember that leadership isn't defined by a title. It's defined by a willingness to serve, and it begins with saying "yes." Whether you volunteer on a SDMS committee or task force, share your expertise by presenting at an event, or mentor a colleague your involvement matters.
Every volunteer strengthens our profession. The future of our Society isn't shaped by a few elected leaders rather it's built by every member who chooses to get involved. Our collective ideas, expertise, and passion will continue moving our profession forward.
