SDMS Annual Conference Hands-On Scanning

Give conference attendees an opportunity to interact with your equipment and software by sponsoring a popular hands-on scanning session at the 2026 SDMS Annual Conference. To be eligible to host a Hands-On Scanning Workshop, your organization must be an exhibitor or sponsor of the 2026 SDMS Annual Conference.

SDMS CME Credit Offering (optional):
The workshop must consist of a minimum 30-minute didactic component (structured lessons that focus on lectures) with the remaining time dedicated to all participants having the opportunity to scan. No more than 10% of the workshop can be equipment- or commercial entity-specific.

SDMS will Provide:
  • Meeting room space; company has the flexibility of setting up the room as desired
  • Audio-visual equipment, including a 11.25’x20’ screen, projector, podium microphone, and riser; sponsors may request additional audio-visual equipment at their own expense
  • Description of the Hands-On Scanning Workshop in the official SDMS Annual Conference schedule
  • Publicity of the Hands-On Scanning Workshop to conference attendees via email
  • Promotion of your company name and/or logo displayed on signage and ancillary materials throughout the conference
Vendor Responsibilities:
  • Provide scanning equipment sufficient to accommodate the desired number of attendees (determined by the company)
  • Manage the sign-up process (in advance) and attendance process (onsite)*
  • Provide the SDMS with the details of your workshop to ensure accurate publicity of your session (form to be provided for completion)
  • Work with the hotel on room set-up and capacity limits
* Process (and all marketing materials) must notify registrants that they are required to be registered as a conference attendee to participate in your company’s hands-on scanning session.
